Cédric’s lawyers report to the Toulouse prosecutor

Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers are exasperated by the press leaks. Maîtres Jean-Baptiste Alary, Emmanuelle Franck and Alexandre Martin have just made a report to the public prosecutor of Toulouse.

They feel that there is regularly a violation of the secrecy of the instruction. Violating the secrecy of the investigation is an offense punishable by two years’ imprisonment and a fine of 30,000 euros.

Jean-Baptiste Alary insists: “For a year and a half, too many leaks have prevented a serene pursuit of this file.” It is in particular the publication of elements on the expertise on the broken glasses by Delphine Jubillar who triggered this report.

In November, after leaks on the instruction and the debates between the judges and Cédric Jubillar, Franck Rastoul, the Attorney General of Toulouse had intervened. He had asked that the release hearings be held behind closed doors for the serenity of the proceedings and to protect the children.
