An elderly lady in the United States has found happiness after losing her pet.
Linda Williams lives in a residence for the elderly. Her cat succumbed to cancer, leaving the lady alone.
But, thankfully, her loneliness was short-lived thanks to the South Carolina Department of Aging project, which helps people who are socially isolated.
Mrs. Williams has a new friend now: a robotic cat she named Lisa.
This one is able to purr, move and even blink its eyes, to the delight of its owner.
“Her family and friends are gone, so there are residents here, but sometimes she likes it to stay at home in her comfort zone,” said Precious Green, who takes care of Linda Williams.
“I’m glad she has Lisa and she’s happy,” she adds.
